About the Wessex AHSN
A Welcome Challenge
“This website sets out the Wessex Academic Health Science Network vision for improvement and summarises the key aspects of our programme. It builds on stakeholder meetings held over 2012 and the Wessex AHSN Prospectus submission in October 2012.
The development of the Wessex AHSN is a major step forward for our academic and health service community, for patients and the Wessex population. We have joined forces to accelerate and link the development of excellent research, high quality education and training, business and commercial investment and best clinical practice. We know through our early engagement with local representatives from the life sciences industry that there is a great appetite for this development and a willingness to be active partners in this new venture.”
